10868 I. Lucy Ann Fairchild, b. at Newtown, Conn., 20 Jan. 1837; married there, 25 Dec. 1859, by Rev. Newton E. Marble, D.D., rector of Trinity Church, to Edgar Allen Northrop, a hatter, born at Newtown, 12 Sept 1837, son of Andrew and Betsey (Peck) Northrop. They dwelt at Brooklyn, N. Y., for three years; at Bethel, Conn., three and a half years; at Milburn, N. J., one year; and then moved to Orange, N. J. He died at Newtown, 23 Oct. 1868, and was buried in Newtown Cemetery. She married (2d), 30 Jan. 1873, at her father's house in Newtown, Edward Albertus Baldwin, an ornamental plasterer, whose parents, Marshall and Catharine (Sipp) Baldwin, then lived at Caldwell, N. J. She continued to live at Orange till the early part of 1874, since which her home has been at Sterling, Ill. Mr. Baldwin was a soldier in the war of 1861. 17854
10869 II. Julia Augusta Fairchild, b. at Newtown, Conn., 4 May 1840; died there, 28 Feb. 1849, and was buried in the Newtown Cemetery.

10871 II. Joseph Botsford Whitney, b. at LeRoy, N. Y., 3 Sept. 1849; grad. at the Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N. Y.
10872 III. Isabella Lewis Whitney, b. at LeRoy, N. Y., 10 Nov. 1852; died at Avon, N. Y., 8 Jan. 1874, and was buried in the cemetery at LeRoy.

10873 I. Joseph Botsford Fairchild, b. at Newtown, Conn., 4 March 1844; a carpenter and joiner; married at her father's house in Newtown, 13 Dec. 1865, by Rev. Newton E. Marble, D.D., rector of Trinity Church, to Emma Jane Jennings, who was born at Newtown, 4 May 1843, dau. of William Bennet and Marilla (Morgan) Jennings. They settled at Newtown, and were still living there in Sept. 1874. 17858
10874 II. Julius Burr Fairchild, b. at Newtown, Conn., 24 Aug. 1847; died at Brooklyn, N. Y., 1 May 1873, and was buried in the cemetery at Newtown, Taunton district.
