John Beebe, of Whitesboro', in Whitestown.1 They dwelt, for several years, at Adams, N. Y.; and then moved to Flint, Mich., where they were living in March 1875.

2647 I. Clarissa Whitney Farman, b. in Paris, N. Y., 13 May 1807; moved with her parents, when an infant, to Ellisburgh, N. Y., where she was married, 16 May 1826, by Lyman Ellis, Esq., to George Hale, a tailor, who was born in Adams, N. Y., 20 Ap. 1800, son of Jesse and Rhoda (Hart) Hale. He deserted her, married again, went south, and died. She lived in Watertown, N. Y., for fourteen years; in Canada, three years; and then settled in Potsdam, N. Y., where she was living in July 1874, a dress-maker. 7784
2648 II. Abigail Farman, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., in Dec. 1808 or 1809; died there, 16 Oct. 1843, unmarried.
2649 III. Joab Farman, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 6 Oct. 1811; a carpenter, joiner and farmer; married at Wolcott, N. Y., 4 July 1833, by William Plank, Esq., to Lydia Seward Josselyn, who was born in Phelps, N. Y., 24 Aug. 1811, dau. of John and Naomi (Warner) Josselyn, and g. dau. of Jabez and Lydia (Seward) Josselyn, and of Daniel and Patty Warner, of Conn. They dwelt, for a few years, in Granby, N. Y., and then settled in Ellisburgh, on the Lake Road, where they were still living in 1874. 7786
2650 IV. William Farman, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., in 1813; a farmer; married Sally Stillwell, dau. of Alexander and Sally (Boomer) Stillwell; and settled in Pennsylvania, where he died in Jan. 1838. She married a second time, and was living in 1874. 7793
2651 V. Benjamin Farman, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y.; lived in Sterling, Ill., in May 1874.
2652 VI. Nathan Farman, b. in Ellisburgh, N. Y., 12 Ap. 1820; married, in Ap. or May 1841, Mary Durand, of Ellisburgh, who was born there, 9 Feb. 1822, dau. of William and Catharine (Colon) Durand. She died in Ellisburgh, 10 July 1859, without children, and was buried in the Ellisburgh Cemetery. He married (2d), 10 Oct. 1859, Jane Tucker; died in 7795
