4748 VIII. Ellen Mehetabel Whitney, twin, b. at Allen's Hill, Richmond, N. Y., 5 Aug. 1826; married at Coldwater, Mich., 5 May 1858, by Rev. Mr. Skinner, Episcopal, to Edwin Mosher, a farmer, son of James and Sarah (Stearns) Mosher, of Coldwater, formerly of Locke, N. Y., where he was born 18 June 1829. They dwelt in the town of Coldwater till 1863; in the city of Coldwater till 1866; and then settled at Kinderhook, Mich., where they were living in 1874. 12217
4749 IX. Dennis Whitney, twin, b. at Allen's Hill, Richmond, N. Y., 7 Aug. 1828; a dealer in real-estate; married at her father's house, 35 Lock Street, Lockport, N. Y., 11 May 1854, by Rev. Mr. Dox, Lutheran, to Helen Marion Butrick, dau. of Riley Porter and Emily (Hobbs) Butrick, formerly of Bergen, N. Y., where she was born 26 May 1833. He dwelt in Lockport from 1848 to 1856; in Clinton County, Iowa, till 1 Jan. 1860; at De Witt, Iowa, till 20 Oct. 1871; at Chicago, Ill., till 6 July 1872; at Lansing, Mich., till I Feb. 1873; and then returned to De Witt, where he was living in 1874, without children.
4750 X. William Whitney, twin, b. at Allen's Hill, Richmond, N. Y., 7 Aug. 1828; a merchant; married at Royalton Centre, N. Y., 4 Oct. 1853, by Rev. Daniel Jenkins, Methodist, to Catharine Reasoner, dau. of James and Peggy (Jenkins) Reasoner, of Royalton Centre, formerly of Herkimer, N. Y., where she was born 25 Sept. 1826. They dwelt at Royalton till 1856; at Battle Creek, Mich., two years; in Macomb County, Mich., five years; at Kalamazoo, Mich., two years; in Kansas, for some time; in Livingston County, Mich., three years; and then settled at Byron, Mich., where they were living in 1874. 12219
