Southampton, widow. 2. Sir Robert Whitney of Whitney, Kt., and the Lady Anne, his wife, daughter of the said Lady Constance Lucye. AGREEMENT for the levying of the sum of £2000 towards the marriage portion of Constance Whitney eldest daughter of the said Sir Robert Whitney and Lady Anne, and £1000 apiece towards the marriage portion of their four other daughters, Lucy, Anne, Eleanor and Susan Whitney, out of the rents and profits of the manor and lordship of Whitney, the manor and lordship of Clifton-super- Dunsmore, co Warwick and part of the manor, castle and park of Clifford, after the said Lady Constance Lucy has received out of the said rents the sums of £772. 3. 2. being the reidue of £3739. 3. 2. which she disbursed towards the payment of various debts owed by the said Sir Robert Whitney. Radnor, the manor and lordship of Clifton-super Dunsmore, co. Warwick, and the manor and lordship of Icombe, co. Gloucester. (ii) Subsequent grant by fine of premises from Sir R.W. and Lady Anne, his wife, to Lady Constance Lucy and Sir Richard Lucy. (iii) Release of the premises for the aforesaid term from Sir Richard Lucy to Lady Constance Lucy.

BARGAIN & SALE ENROLLED (in consideration of a marriage lately solemised between Lucy, eldest daughter of the said Robert Rodd, and the said Robert Price, and as part of portion to the said Lucy Price) of the fourth part of the manor or lordship of Whitney and of the capital messauge called Whitney Court, the park called Whitney Park, the castle, manor and lordship of Clifford, the park called Clifford Park, the messuage or farm called Castleton in the parish of Clifford and Llanvair y Bryn and of the advowson of the parish church of Whitney. Also recites that the present conveyance is made towards the performance of the said Robert Rodd’s covenant for further assurance of the premises comprised in an Indenture Quadrupartite dated 30 August 1679, between the said Robert and Sophia his wife (1), Margaret Price of Bwlch y Beudy, co. BARGAIN & SALE ENROLLED of the fourth part of the manor of Whitney and of the advowson of the parish church of Whitney, the manor of Clifford and the park called Clifford Park together with the part of other lands in Whitney and Clifford. Consideration : £4,848. Recites that Sir Robert Whitney of Whitney was seized of the said manors and lands, and that after his death and the death of his other sons without issue, Thomas Whitney, his only surviving son, became seized of the premises. After the latter’s death without issue, the premises descended to the four
