Aaron7 Whitney (Aaron6, Levi5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Aaron6 and Phebe (Dunklee) Whitney, was born 15 Dec 1801, Amherst, NH,[1] and died 20 Jan 1866, Hartford, CT. He was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.[2]

Marriage intentions were published, 6 Feb 1830, Biddeford, ME, for him "Mr." "of Saco" and "Miss" Rebecca S. Perkins "of Biddeford".[3] Marriage intentions were published, 6 Feb 1830, Saco, ME, for him "of Saco" and Rebecca S. Perkins "of Biddeford".[4] He "Mr." "Jr." "of Saco" married, during the year ended 1 April 1830, "Miss" Rebecca S. Perkins "of Biddeford",[5] daughter of Jotham and Olive (Hill) Perkins. She was 5 Mar 1809, Biddeford, ME. Apparently they were divorced, since she married secondly, 3 Jul 1863, Boston, MA, William H. Chase, b. ca. 1821, Providence, RI, son of Samuel and Catharine (-----) Chase.[6]

He was a machinist. He resided Biddeford, ME, and Hartford, CT.

This was his daughter Sarah living with her brother Amos. Apparently the census taker reversed the meaning of the columns about literacy, marking those who could read and write, instead of those who couldn't.
