Alles5 Whitney (Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), daughter of Matthias4 and Alice (Robbins) Whitney, was born 20 Mar 1753, Killingly, CT,[1] and died 18 Feb 1831. She was buried in Hill Cemetery, South Granville, NY.[2]

Alles married, circa 1776, Noah Day, son of David and Hannah (Titus) Day. He was born 14 Feb 1757, Attleborough, MA, and died 10 Jun 1841, Granville, NY. He was buried in Hill Cemetery, South Granville, NY.[3]

He was a deacon in the First Congregational Church of South Granville.

He served in the American Revolution as follows:

  • Jun 1775: Private in Putnam and Durkees Regiment of Foot, Connecticut
  • May 1776: Corporal in COL Ward's Regiment of Foot, Connecticut, for 12 months. Participated in Battle of Trenton, and skirmishes around Princeton.
  • May 1778: Sergeant in COL McLellan's regiment for defense of Connecticut
  • May 1783: Ensign in 9th Company, 21st Regiment
