Alonzo7 Whitney (Samuel6, Elijah5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Lucy (Handley) Whitney, was born 29 Nov 1826, Bolton, MA, and died 4 Jan 1910, West Boylston, MA, aged 83 years 1 month 5 days, of valvular heart disease.[1]

He married, 25 Dec 1851, Clinton, MA, Sarah H. Coolidge, daughter of Silas and Judith (-----) Coolidge.[2] She was born 29 Jun 1831, Berlin, MA.

He was a cooper; in 1855 resided Maxfield St., New Bedford, MA, and in 1861, Pleasant Ct., New Bedford.

Winslow, b. ca. 1878, New Bedford, MA, dau. of George F. and Fanny L. (Willis) Winslow.[5] He resided Fairhaven, MA. Is an oculist and aurist, s. p.
ii. Susan A. Whitney, b. 1 Dec 1861, New Bedford, MA;[6] d. 30 Sep 1903, Taunton Insane Hospital, Taunton, MA [recorded Fairhaven, MA], aged 41 years 9 months 29 days, of chronic articular rheumatism; unmarried; bur. Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven, MA.[7]
