Charles A. Whitney (George), son of George and Mary (-----) Whitney), was born about 1856, Cleveland, OH, and died after 1887.
He married, 12 Jul 1885, Boston, MA, Mary E. Daly, daughter of John and Catherine (Fitzgerald) Daly.[1] She was born about 1865, Lawrence, MA, or about 1861, Salem, NH. They were divorced after 1887. She married secondly, 11 Dec 1906. Boston, MA, Walter S. Gerry, born about 1852, West Poland, ME, son of Osmyn J. and Mercy (Chipman) Gerry.[2]
In 1885 he was a baggage master. In 1887 he was a baggage master living at 189 Washington St., Boston, MA.

i. Frank O. Whitney, b. 27 Apr 1887, Boston, MA;[3] d. 1 Jul 1899, Boston, MA, aged 12 years 2 months 4 days, of tuberculosis;[4] bur. Lawrence, MA.
