Charles H.⁹ Whitney (Charles H. J.⁸, William⁷, Jabez⁶, Jacob⁵, Jonas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Charles H. J.⁸ and Sarah Frances (Sanborn) Whitney, was born 17 May 1874, Lowell, MA,^[1] and died after 1910.

He married, 14 Jan 1896, Lowell, MA, Gertrude Doyle, dau. of Thomas F. and Annie (-----) Doyle.^[2] She was born Jan 1878, Dracut, MA.
