Charles Pritchard8 Whitney (Erastus Davis7, Peter6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Erastus Davis7 and Hannah (Wilkinson) Whitney, was born 20 Nov 1833, Erie Co., NY, and died 3 Jan 1909, Fonda, IA. He was buried in Cedar Township Cemetery, Fonda, IA.[1]

He married, 11 Jun 1858, Dubuque, IA, Lovisa Rebecca Blakeslee,[2] daughter of Enoch Crocker and Olivia Ann (Finch) Blakeslee. She was born 18 May 1840, NY (or Erie Co., PA), and died 19 Jan 1917, Fonda, IA. She was buried in Cedar Township Cemetery, Fonda, IA.[3]
