Franklin9 Whitney (Washington8, Joshua7, Joshua6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Washington8 and Caroline G. (Park) Whitney, was born 11 Nov 1828, Binghamton, NY, and died after 1900.

He married firstly, 11 Oct 1858, Sarah Chambers. She was born about 1837, NY, and died after 1863.

He married secondly, before 1867, Carolyn "Carrie" S. Wheeler, daughter of Clark B. and Anna S. (Carpenter) Wheeler. She was born about 1839, Dutchess Co., NY, and died after 1900.

He resided Jersey City, NY, and 82 Murray St., New York City.
