George Ervin8 Whitney (Albert Appleton7, Appleton Downer6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Albert Appleton7 and Jenette (Brown) Whitney, was born 2 Jun 1836, MA, and died 14 May 1910, Harvey, IL.

Although a George was living next door to Robert, he may not have been Robert's brother George, since the former's family members do not match what we know of the latter. If this is not the right entry, then George and family are missing from the 1860 census.
