George L.7 Whitney (William M.6, Joshua5, Joshua4, David3, Joshua2, John1), son of William M.6 and Martha Ann (Perlee) Whitney, was born about 1835, OH, and died after 1910.

He married, 5 Nov 1863, prob. IA, Lavilla G. Silcott, daughter of Lewis Edward and Rachel (Fisher) Silcott. She was born 3 Feb 1844, Parke Co., IN, and died 6 Oct 1891, Labette Co., KS.
