George Washington⁹ Whitney (Alonzo Driscoll⁸, George Washington⁷, Ezekiel⁶, Ezekiel⁵, John⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Alonzo Driscoll⁸ and Zelophine J. (Gilliheon) Whitney, was born 12 Jun 1871, Somerville, MA, and died after 1904.

He married, 11 Jul 1894, Andover, MA [also recorded in Somerville, MA], Mary Jane Garside, daughter of James and Sarah (Harrison) Garside.^[1] She was born about 1872, Rochdale, MA, and died after 1904.

iii.	Mildred Whitney, b. 23 Jul 1902, Somerville, MA;[4] d. 9 Feb 1906, Somerville, MA, aged 3 years 6 months 16 days, of croupous bronchitis.[5]
iv.	Ernest Winfield Whitney, b. 24 Jan 1904, Somerville, MA.[6]
