James Eugene9 Whitney (James W.8, Amos7, Hezekiah 6, Elias5, Lemuel4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of James W.8 and Sultina V. (Bartlett) Whitney, was born 22 Nov 1869, Sterling, MA.[1]

He married firstly, 11 Sep 1889, Lempster, NH, or 10 Sep 1889, Lancaster, MA [also recorded in Leominster, MA, and 11 Sep in Sterling, MA], Annie E. Corey, daughter of Charles E. and Mary (-----) Corey.[2] She was born about 1868, Groton, MA, and died 26 Oct 1892, Worcester, MA, aged 23 years 1 month 6 days, of peritonitis.[3]

He married secondly, 3 Jun 1901, Ashburnham, MA [also recorded Leominster, MA], Myrtle Beaman Goslaw, daughter of John and Laura (-----) Goslaw,[4], of Burke, NY. She was born about 1875, Burke, NY,

They resided 299 Lake street, Cleveland, OH.
