He married, 31 Jan 1880, Stow, ME, Phebe J. Stevens. She was born in N. Fryeburg, ME.
In 1889 he was a porter living at rear 45 Portland St., Boston, MA; in 1891, a laborer living at 254 Medford St., Charlestown, MA; in 1893 at 113 Elm St., Boston, MA.

(Brown) Newcomb.[2] iv. John Henry Whitney, b. 14 Jul 1889, Boston, MA.[3] v. Thomas Enoch Whitney, b. 3 Aug 1891, Boston, MA;[4] d. 22 Feb 1893, Boston, MA, aged 1 year 7 months, of pneumonia.[5]
