John4 Whitney (John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of John3 and Lettice (Ford) Whitney,[1] was born 14 May 1719, York, ME,[2] and died after 1776.[3]

On 22 Jan 1743, Kittery, ME, marriage intentions were published for him and Elizabeth Foy,[4] parentage, birth, and death unknown.

On 3 Jul 1742, Kittery, ME, John Whitney was admitted to full communion with the church.[5]

On 28 Feb 1776, Kittery, ME, John Whitney renewed his baptismal covenant.[6]

i. Mary5 Whitney, bapt. 1 Apr 1744, Kittery, Maine;[7] no further record.
