Joseph Jerome9 Whitney (Joseph H.8, Joseph7, Nathaniel6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph H.8 and Sarah (Ingraham) Whitney, was born 25 Jul 1836, Grafton, MA,[1] and died after 1910.

He married, 24 Oct 1857, Uxbridge, MA, Matilda J. Arnold, daughter of James and Mary (-----) Arnold.[2] She was born 1834, Ireland, and died 3 Sep 1901, Hopkinton, MA, aged 68 years 3 months 10 days, of carcinomi of ovary.[3]

He is a mechanic; resided Hopkinton, MA.
