Family:Whitney, Leonard (1808-a1880)

Leonard⁷ Whitney (Nathan⁶, Nathan⁵, David⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Nathan⁶ and Eunice (Puffer) Whitney, was born 25 Nov 1808, Westminster, MA,^[1] and died 13 Dec 1880, Lincoln, MI, aged 72 years.^[2]

He married, 9 Dec 1830, Providence, RI, Charlotte S. Allen.^[3] She was born about 1809, MA, and died between 1870 and 1880.

He married secondly, before 1880, Sarah S. -----. She was born Feb 1815, VT, and died after 1900.

Heywood says "d. unm. in early manhood."^[4] His death record proves that he did not, since it names his parents as Nathan and E. Whitney.

ii.	Harriet Whitney, b. ca. 1836, RI.

v.	Edwin C. Whitney, b. ca. 1852, MI; m. Estella E. Birdsell.

Leonard⁷ and Sarah S. (-----) Whitney had no children.
