Levi Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1798, CT, and died 3 Sep 1870, aged 72 years, Sheffield, MA.[1]

He married, date and place unknown, Aurelia -----, daughter of Daniel and Mary (-----) -----. She was born about 1806, VT, and died 23 Oct 1860, Adams, MA, aged 56 years.[2]

i. Emily Whitney, b. ca. 1836, Pittsfield, MA, or VT, or NY; d. 15 Jan 1901, Sheffield, MA, aged 70 years, of pneumonia;[3] m. 28 Nov 1864, Sheffield, MA, Christopher Ferry, son of John and Bertha, laborer, b. ca. 1846, Sheffield, MA.[4]
ii. Henry Whitney, b. ca. 1838, NY or MA; d. aft. 1860.

Notes

It is possible that his wife was Aurilla Smith, daughter of Daniel and Mary (-----) Smith, born 2 Sep 1806, Sudbury, VT.
