Marshall W.7 Whitney (Moses6, Abraham5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Moses6 and Jane (Polley) Whitney, was born about 16 May 1808, Watertown, MA, and died 5 Jun 1880, Hudson, MA, aged 71 years 11 months 19 days, of pneumonia.[1]

He married firstly, 20 Jul 1834, Westbrook, ME, Harriet Edwards.

He married secondly, 25 Dec 1847, Woodstock, VT, widow Eliza A. (Brown) Cole,[2] daughter of James and Meninda (Stickney) Brown. She was born about 22 Oct 1819, NY or NS, and died 27 Mar 1895, Bolton, MA, aged 75 years 5 months 5 days, of pneumonia.[3]

He resided Boston, MA.

i. Julia Amanda8 Whitney, b. ca. 1835, ME; m. 26 Aug 1862, Providence, RI, Ben Wood, son of Jonathan and Ruth (-----) Wood.
ii. Marshall Whitney, b. ca. 1840, Oxford, ME; d. after 1883; m. 1 Dec 1875, Providence, RI, Eunice "Nunie" A. Goodrich.
