Melville Murrey9 Whitney (George W.8, Alpheus7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of George W.7 and Sophia A. (Farnum) Whitney, was born 3 Aug 1858, Halifax, VT,[1] and died after 1920.

He married, 21 Oct 1887, Plymouth, MA [also recorded at Weymouth, MA], Annie I. Perkins, dau. of Arad and Rhoda A. (Goodnow) Perkins.[2] She was born Mar 1864, Taunton, MA, and died after 1920.
