Miles Franklin8 Whitney (Erastus Marvin7, Jonas6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Erastus Marvin7 and Mary E. (Jackson)(Davidson) Whitney, was born 25 Mar 1838, Otis, MA,[1] and died 29 Jul 1901, Otis, MA, aged 63 years 4 months 5 days, of paralysis and coma.[2]

He married, 20 Apr or 26 Jun 1859, Otis, MA, Sarah Jane Blunt, daughter of Cornelius Blunt.[3] She was born 1 Mar 1842, Chatham or Hudson, NY, and died 27 May 1905, Otis, MA, aged 63 years 2 months 6 days, of chronis phthisis.[4]

He was a farmer; resided West Otis, MA.
