Family:Whitney, Nathan Herbert (1842-1913)
Nathan Herbert8 Whitney (Nathan7, David6, Samuel5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Eliza (Stevens) Whitney, was born 27 Jun 1842, Bolton, MA, and died 8 Dec 1913, Framingham, MA, aged 71 years 10 months 11 days, of arteriosclerosis.[1]
He married firstly, 1 Aug 1865, Wilton, NH, Abbie Ninette Lovejoy, daughter of Moses and Lucy C. (Gray) Lovejoy. She was born 27 Jan 1845, Wilton, NH, and died 4 Feb 1875, Fitchburg, MA, aged 30 years, of consumption.[2]
He married secondly, 8 Feb 1897, Medford, MA, Mary Eudora Farnham, daughter of Samuel and Julia (Chaney) Farnham.[3] She was born Sep 1857, Woolwich, ME, and died 30 Mar 1909, Medford, MA, aged 51 years 6 months 3 days, of ulcer of stomach.[4] He was a bookkeeper and she a doctor.
He is superintendent and treasurer of the Gurney carriage factory, 17 Randolph St.; resided Boston, MA.
