Orville C.¹⁰ Whitney (Merrick T.⁹, Torrey⁸, Moses⁷, Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Merrick T.⁹ and Fostina L. (Wheaton) Whitney, was born 13 Oct 1849, PA, and died after 1880.

He married, 30 Jun 1875, Mary S. Severy. She was born Nov 1857, and died after 1880.

He is an insurance agent and graduated at Hillsdale college, Michigan, in 1875; resided New Milford, PA.
