"Josiah" was probably "Joshua". "Lovice" was Leonice B. Corthell, daughter of Daniel and Mary Ann7 (Whitney) Corthell, for whom see Family:Whitney, Ephraim (1770-1858). That makes her a grandniece of Reuben.

1.^  "Rueben [Whitney] and Hannah Hudson, both of Plantation No. 22, [married] 10 July 1801," according to Jackman, Beulah G., Earliest records of Machias, Maine (1767-1837) (Concord, NH: Published by Beulah G. Jackman, [1937?]). "Hudson" is apparently an error for "Stetson".
