Ruluff9 Whitney (William Glenny8, Ruluff7, Christopher6, William5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of William Glenny8 and Melvina (Fleming) Whitney, was born 26 Aug 1837, Portsmouth, OH.

He married firstly, 26 Apr 1871 (according to Pierce) or 26 Apr 1862, Scioto Co., OH, Ellen M. Cassidy. She was born 15 Feb 1846, Scioto Co., OH, and died 1881, Chicago, IL.

He married secondly, 13 Oct 1881, Mary Louise Adams. She was born 5 Feb 1853.

He is forman in one of the largest tinning establishments in Ohio; resided Cincinnati, OH, 285 Findlay St.
