Thomas C.8 Whitney (Abner7, Jesse6, David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Abner7 and Elizabeth (Graffam) Whitney, was born 30 Mar 1826 (twin), Saco, ME,[1] and died after 1870, San Francisco, CA.

Marriage intentions were published 5 Dec 1852, Augusta, ME, for him and his first wife Eliza E. McKinney,[2] daughter of Reuben McKinney. She was born Aug 1837, Augusta, ME, and died after 1900. There may have been a divorce, since she died after her husband's second marriage.

He married secondly, 25 Feb 1863, Boston, MA, Annie M. Kelleher, daughter of William and Corba (-----) Kelleher. She was born about 1842, England.[3]
