William Charles10 Whitney (Charles W.9|, Jason8, Ohio7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Charles W.9 and Ruana (Barrell) Whitney, was born 27 May 1866, Westminster, MA,[1] and died after 1906.

He married, 8 Jan 1900, East Brookfield, MA, Bertha S. Hood, daughter of Charles E. and Mary (McKenney) Hood. She was born 11 Apr 1882, Brookfield, MA.[2]

i. Ernest Louis11 Whitney, b. 26 Apr 1900, Brookfield, MA;[3] d. 9 May 1902, Brookfield, MA, aged 2 years 13 days, of pernicious anaemia.[4]
ii. Walter Leonard11 Whitney, b. 3 Oct 1902, Ashburnham, MA.[5]
iii. Bernice Viola Whitney, b. 30 Jul 1906, Ashburnham, MA.[6]
