William Henry⁹ Whitney (Stephen Thomas⁸, Freeman⁷, Enoch⁶, Moses⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Stephen Thomas⁸ and Catherine (Brown) Whitney was born 12 May 1855, Harrison, ME, and died 15 Jun 1936.

He married 18 May 1880 (int. 13 May 1880, cert. 18 May 1880), Harrison, ME, Laura Ella⁹ Whitney "of Sweden",^[1] daughter of Enoch⁸ and Susan (Lord) Whitney of Harrison. She was born 1862, and died 1931.

William is buried in the Harrison Village Cemetery.
