Then he started a Whitney Family Reunion in northern Maine in Lee in 1998 for descendants of William Alonzo, Joseph Franklin and Braddock Whitney which later was expanded to include descendants back to Benjamin and Thomas Whitney. An Eleanor M. (Whitney) Crouch of Greenbush, ME came to our reunions and then published a 109 page addendum to Pierce's with updated information on the lines of John Whitney's four son's John, Thomas, Jonathan, and Benjamin in 2002. (Spencer is now deceased, May 20, 2002.) Our Whitney Reunion this year will be on Saturday July 12, 2008 in Lincoln ME beginning at 10AM.
