Eliab T.6 Whitney (Josiah5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), born Gaspy, Lower Canada, 17 Dec 1789; married Lydia Butterworth, dau. of William. She died 1826; married 2d, in Cape Breton, N. B., 1827, Lydia Williams, born Salem, Massachusetts, Sept. 10, 1810; died 2 Apr 1866, in Edgecomb, Maine. He was a cooper. He died 2 Apr 1865; resided New Castle and Edgecomb, Maine.
