Calvin Whitney, parentage unknown, but brother of Haynes Whitney,[1] was born say 1793, location unknown, and died Oct 1832, Thomaston, ME.
He married Eliza Everton. She was born 1800, and died 20 Feb 1861. She married secondly, Joseph Thompson.
Calvin Whitney with his brother Haynes emigrated to Thomaston, ME, where he died in 1832. He resided Thomaston, ME.
He may have been a son of Joshua and Sally (-----) Whitney of Wendell, NH, and Bridgewater, VT, possibly identical with their son "John", born 20 Jan 1784, Wendell, NH, since he was undoubtedly named after John Calvin, the religious figure. Bridgewater and Woodstock are 3 to 6 miles from each other.
