James Whitney ((probably) David), probably the son of David and Louisa (-----) Whitney, was born circa 1857, Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales.
He married Louisa Williams.
Although probably unrelated, there are two baptisms for children named James in Usk during the correct time period, both apparently pertaining to the same child:[1]
- 426 22 Oct 1857 Jas bastard s/o Caroline Davies, House of Correction, Usk, a convict
- 432 29 Jan 1858 Jas Davies base s/o Caroline? Davies, Usk House of Correction
