RICHARD WHITNEY purchased the living of Martly, in Worcestershire, of John Washburn; and was inducted Rector of the same, March 1, 1579.  Anthony
                                                 Whitney was connected with him in the purchase.


... Whitney, of Holt, = Anne; made her will, Nov. 9, 1622, which was proved at Worcester, Aug. 2, 1632.  Gives to Henry Beedle a strike of rye: gives to
