He was born in Middletown, Conn., and resided nearly all his life in the south. Three years before his death he was elected sergeant at arms of the Miss. legislature. He d. Feb. 4, 1822; res. He was born in Killingly, Conn., in that part which was subsequently North Kil- lingly. He served four years in the Revolutionary war in a Connecticut regiment, and was at the battle of Bunker Hill.
