Whereas the kings Ma(jes)ty by his L(ette)res Patent under the
seale of this Courte bearinge date at Westm(inister) the
eighteenth day of August in the one and trentith
yeare of his highnes raigne by the advise of the
honorable the Com(m)ittee for his Ma(jes)t(ies) Revenue settinge
at Westm(inister) did devise grannt and to Farme lett unto
William Whitmey all that messuage w(i)th the app(er)ten(a)nce(s)
in Charwelton in the Countie of North(am)ton then in
the tenure of Fowke Wynn or his assignes of the
cleare yearlie value in all yssues above reprises
tenn sillings. And alsoe twoe closes of pasture w(i)th
the app(er)ten(a)nce(s) in Charwelton aforsaid in the County
aforesaid called by the sev(er)all names of hogstie yarde
and Barly feilde then in the tenure of the said Fowke
Wynn. And one other Close of pasture w(i)th the app(er)ten(a)nce(s)
in Charwelton in the Countie aforesaid lyeinge betweene
the said twoe closes of pasture then in the tenure of
the said Fowke Wynne or his assignes of the cleare
yearly value in all yssues above reprises twentie and
five pound(e)s, Moreover all those three closes of meadowe
or pasture in Charwelton aforesaid in the Countie
aforesaid called by the sev(er)all naes of Square
Meadowe Greenehill and Longe Meadowe then in
the tenure of Richard Marriott or his Assignes of the
cleare yearlie value of in all yssues above reprises
thirtie pound(e)s of the lands and tenements of the said
Richard Marriott of Harteswell Parke in the said
Countie of North(am)ton gent outlawed in London on
Monday next before the Feast of St Alphage the
Bishopp in the Nyneteenth yeare of his said Ma(jes)t(ies) raigne
at the suyte of the said William Whitmey upon a
plea of debte and for that cause the said lands and
tenement(es) were taken and seized into the King(e)s Ma(jes)ti(es)
hands by an Inquisic(i)on indented taken at Wellingborough
in the Countie of North(amp)ton the seaventh day of June
in the said nyntheenth yeare of his highnes raygne
before S(i)r William Wilmer knight late Sheriff of the
said Countie by vertue of p(ro)ces of Capias Utlagat
awarded out of the Courte of Com(m)on Pleas yt was
