Marriage Intentions:

Intention of marriage certified between Mr. Aaron Whitney of Bowdoin and Mrs. Betsy Hildreth of Lewiston, published 25 April 1799.

Intention of marriage entered between Mr. Adelbert M. Knight and Celestia A. Whitney, both of Lewiston, 26 December 1862. Alvin Whitney, the father of Celestia A. Whitney, gives his consent to the marriage.

Intention of marriage entered between Mr. Isaac Whitney of Lewiston and Mrs. Amand (sic) M. Saltmarsh, published on 16 August 1850.

Intention of marriage entered between Mr. Humphrey Whitney of Lisbon and Miss Elmira Dyer of Lewiston on 12 September 1822. Certificate granted 13 November 1822.

Intention of marriage entered between Mr. Micah Higgins of Portland and and Miss Mary Ann Whitney of Lewiston, published 12 April 1846. Certificate granted 26 April 1846.

Marriage solemnized between Mr. Isaac Whitney and Mrs. Amanda M. Saltmarsh, both of Lewiston, in Lewiston on 12 September 1850 by W.R. French, Minister of the Gospel.

Mr. Humphrey Whitney of Lisbon and Miss Elmira Dyer of Lewiston were married 17 November 1822 by Dan Read, J.P.

Mr. Micah Higgins of Portland and Miss Mary Ann Whitney of Lewiston were married in Lewiston 30 April 1846 by W.R. French, Minister of the Gospel.

Mr. Thomas Crowley of Lewiston and Miss Mary Jane Whitney of Lisbon were married in Lewiston 17 June 1854.


Deaths:

Whitney, Phineas from Jay died 10 August 1857.
