5414 I. Mary St. Clair Delano, b. at Eagle Harbor, in Gaines, N.Y., 6 June 1830; married there, 30 Oct. 1853, her mother's cousin, Jeremiah Whitney, son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth (Underhill) Whitney. See his record. 5335

5415 II. Maria Louisa Delano, b. at Eagle Harbor, in Gaines, N.Y., 7 Feb. 1832; died at Eagle Harbor, 23 Oct. 1834, and was buried near her mother, in the Long Bridge Cemetery, west of Eagle Harbor.
5416 III. William Jonathan Delano, b. at Eagle Harbor, in Gaines, N.Y., 7 May 1834; a cooper; married there, 5 Sept 1855, by Rev. L. H. Chase, Christian, to Esther Jane Chase, dau. of Artemas and Julina (Dinsmore) Chase, of Eagle Harbor, formerly of Barre, N.Y., where she was born 11 Nov. 1833. They dwelt on the peninsula, opposite Sandusky, Ohio, till the Spring of 1856; at Sandusky; at Indianapolis, Ind., till Oct 1856; at Eagle Harbor till Ap. 1858; at Clayton, Ind., till the Spring of 1861; at Eagle Harbor till May 1862; when he went to California, and she to her father's house, remaining till 1864, during which year they lived in Lansing, Mich., Attica, Ind., and Terre Haute, Ind., reaching the latter place 31 Dec., and remaining till March 1865. They dwelt at Ellsworth, Ind., till July 1866; at Raisin, Mich., and Lyons, Mich., till 28 Sept. 1868, when he started for Indiana, to select a new home, and she returned to her father's house at Raisin, Mich., since which she has never seen him. Believing him dead, she married (2d), 28 Oct. 1871, David H. Chase, a farmer, who was born at Providence, N.Y., 4 June 1818. They were living two and a half miles east of the city of Adrian, Mich., in Sept 1877. 13354
