p. 526, #5008: Ebenezer E.⁸ WHITNEY did not die in Sep 1882. Instead it was his wife Amanda J. S. Whitney [sic] who died 25 Sep 1881, at home in Montague, MA, aged 40 years 9 months 11 days, cause not given, born in Montague, daughter of David L. Rice, according to "Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841–1910," from original records held by the Massachusetts Archives.
