p. 81, #350: Zebudah (DAVIS) WHITNEY died 21 Nov 1812, Harvard, MA, aged 85 years, according to Harvard vital records. Her will may have been dated 3 Nov 1806, but it could not have been probated on that date.

p. 81, #350: Jonas5 WHITNEY died 23 Dec 1781, Harvard, MA, aged 65 years, according to Harvard vital records. This is affirmed by an independent reading of his tombstone. Either the tombstone is hard to read, or is miscut, since the correct date should be 23 Dec 1791, as given by Pierce, as Jonas would only be 55 years old on the earlier date. His will may have been dated 6 Dec 1791, but it could not have been probated on that date.

p. 81, #957: Miriam6 WHITNEY died 30 Apr 1775 (not 1773), according to Harvard vital records.

p. 81, #959: Jonas6 WHITNEY published his intentions of marriage, 2 Jul 1780, Harvard, MA, with Relief6 WHITNEY (not HOLT), Archive:The Descendants of John Whitney, page 89#C1096 on page 89, according to Harvard vital records. They were third cousins by common descent from Richard2 WHITNEY.

p. 81, #965: Levi6 WHITNEY was born 12 (not 23) Jun 1751, Harvard, MA, according to Harvard vital records.

p. 81, #966: There is no record of birth, marriage, or death of a daughter Lucy6 WHITNEY, according to Harvard vital records. It may be that she is mentioned in the will of either her father, her mother, or both, but those wills have not yet been examined.

p. 81, #969: Samuel Winslow6 WHITNEY married Pamela -----, according to Brattleboro, VT, vital records. He was the fifth child, not the second. The children are listed out of proper order, which would be: John, Susanna, Lemuel, Richard, Samuel, Ephraim, Rufus, and Harriet.

p. 81, #976: Abel6 WHITNEY was born 29 (not 19) Sep 1752, Harvard, MA, according to Harvard vital records.

p. 81, #976: Abel6 WHITNEY married, 1 Nov 1775, Petersham, MA, Elizabeth SPENNY, according to Petersham vital records.

p. 81, #978: Relief6 WHITNEY seems to be the conflation of two daughters by that name. There are birth records for such a daughter on 2 Feb 1758, Harvard, MA, according to Harvard vital records, and on 2 Feb 1760, Petersham, MA, according to Petersham vital records. The fact that both births are recorded on 2 Feb exactly two years apart, leads one to speculate, but that is what the records show.

p. 81, #978: ABEL WILDER was born 19 (not 10) Feb 1758, Petersham, MA, according to Petersham vital records.
