Henry Walker Whitney, parentage unknown, was born circa 1826, probably Bermuda, and died 2 Mar 1878, Turks Islands, "in his 52nd year... leaving a wife and a large family of children."[1]

He married Catherine Jane -----.[2] She was born circa 1824, Bermuda, and died 12 Nov 1895, Turks Islands, "in her 71st year ... leaving 5 sons, 2 daughters, a sister and a brother, and 11 grand-children.""[3]

He was for many years a public officer in Turks Islands.[4]
