He married Ola G. Lutman, daughter of Daniel and Rose (Reise) Lutman. She was born 12 Feb 1871, Lima, IL, and died 30 Aug 1950, Nodaway, IA.
Both Hiram and Ola are buried in Fletcher Cemetery, Lima, IL.
Hiram was a barber by trade, a Mason and member of the Shrine of North America.
