Theodore Alpheus 2 Whitney (Benjamin1), son of Benjamin1 and Rhoda (-----) Whitney,[1] was born circa 1856, CT,[2] and died 19 Jan 1918, Sydney, Australia.[3]
He married, Feb 1877, Wooloomooloo, Sydney, Australia, Harriet Selina Stapleton, daughter of Alfred and Louisa Stapleton.[4] She was born circa 1856, England, and died 1939, Parramatta, Sydney, Australia.
They lived in Pyrmont and Summer Hill, Sydney, Australia.
Theodore arrived in the colony of New South Wales around 1875, when he was 21 years old.
On 24 Oct 1879, "Theodore Alfred Davis Whitney", was naturalized. He was aged 23, a native of the U.S., laborer, and had arrived in New South Wales on the Ship Adventure in 1874.[5]
