William Henry⁹ Whitney (Sidney Grant⁸, Jesse B.⁷, John⁶, Barnabas⁵, Isaac⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Sidney Grant⁸ and Mary Emeline (Rand) Whitney, was born 27 Sep 1896, Mapleton, MN, and died 1996, Blue Earth MN (at St. Luke's Home).

He married, 3 Sep 1919, rural Delavan MN, Nellie Marie Wallace, daughter of William and Minnie (Davis) Wallace. She was born 13 Jan 1901, rural Delavan MN, and died 1969, Blue Earth MN (hospital).

Buried at Rice Lake Cemetery, rural Delavan MN (Faribault Co). Occupation: farmer. All 5 sons farmed in the area, also.
