David Jewell (Sarah³ Whitney, Joshua², John¹), was son of Nathaniel and Sarah³ (Whitney) Jewell, born circa 1715, and died Salisbury, CT.

He married, 5 Nov 1741, Plainfield, CT, Christiana Loomis, daughter of Noah and Sarah (Morton) Loomis. She was born 13 Apr 1719, Windsor, CT, and died unknown.

i.	Christiana Jewell, b. 23 Oct 1742, Cornwall, CT; m. Jonathan Spafford, son of Jacob and Rebecca (Smalley) Spafford. They lived in Williston, VT.
ii.	Hannah Jewell, b. 19 Jan 1744, Cornwall, CT.
iii.	David Jewell, b. 2 Dec 1746, Cornwall, CT; m. Patty Grant.
iv.	Jonathan Jewell, b. 2 Jun 1749, Salisbury, CT; m. Betsey Dobbin.
v.	Elizabeth Jewell, b. 29 Sep 1751, Salisbury, CT; m.(1) David Spafford; m.(2) Elisha Clark.
vi.	Jesse Jewell, b. 15 Feb 1754, Salisbury, CT; d. 1776, Richmond, VT.
