Moses Rice (Hannah4 Whitney, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Ezekiel and Hannah4 (Whitney) Rice, was born circa 1733, Framingham, MA,[1] and died 12 Feb 1819, Natick, MA, aged 76 years, of lung fever.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 13 Sep 1766, Natick, MA, for him "of Framingham" and his first wife Mary Sparhawk. She was born 5 Apr 1747, Natick, MA, and died 23 Dec 1782, Natick, MA.

He "of Sherburne" married secondly, 6 May 1802, Walpole, MA, "widow" Tryphena (Smith) Clark. She was born circa 1770. Marriage intentions were published 30 Jan 1791, Walpole, MA, for her and her first husband Oliver Clark.

Children of Moses and Mary (Sparhawk) Rice:

i. Hannah Rice, b. 1779; m. 4 Mar 1799, William Coolidge; d. 1819.
ii. Sally Rice, b. 25 Jul 1781, Natick, MA.

Children of Moses and Tryphena (Smith)(Clark) Rice, all born Sherborn, MA:

i. Smith Rice, b. 24 Feb 1803.
ii. Moses Rice, b. 23 Feb 1804.
iii. Harriet Rice, b. 23 Feb 1804; d. 16 Nov 1890; m.(1) 12 Mar 1821, John Warton Perry; m.(2) 23 Nov 1834, Alfred Bacon.
iv. Olive Rice, b. circa Dec 1804; d. 28 Feb 1804, Sherborn, MA.
