David Stanton (Elizabeth⁴, David³, Joshua², John¹), son of Elijah and Elizabeth⁴ (Whitney) Stanton, was born 22 May 1757, Sheffield, MA, and died 4 Jun 1827, Essex, VT.

He married, 22 Nov 1780, Norwich, CT, Olive Galusha, daughter of Jacob and Lydia (Huntington) Galusha. She was born 4 Dec 1759, Norwich, CT, and died 20 Oct 1842, Essex or Shaftsbury, VT.

iv.	Olivia Stanton, b. 22 Feb 1786, Jericho, VT; d. 17 Feb 1825, Burlington, VT; m. 17 Jan 1808, Burlington, VT, Luther Moore.
v.	Stephen Stanton, b. ca. 1788; d. 1820.
