Aaron⁵ Whitney (Elnathan⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Elnathan⁴ and Sarah (Perry) Whitney, was born 15 Jul 1734, Watertown, MA.^[1]

He married, 1 Mar 1757, Newton, MA, Margaret Cornet.^[2] She was born circa 1736, probably Newton, MA. She was also known as Margaret Cornit and Margaret Cornish.

In 1790, Aaron Whitney and Margaret Whitney were original members of the First Congregational Church, Jamaica, VT.^[3]
