She "of Sherborn" married, 28 Oct 1773, Sherborn, MA, Ebenezer Foskett "of Warwick",[2] son of Ebenezer and Susannah (Richardson) Foskett. He was born 6 Oct 1751, Dudley, MA, and died 29 Jun 1822, Warwick or Orange, MA. He married secondly, 24 May 1802, Hubbardston, MA, Rebecca Newton.
On 24 Mar 1764, Sherborn, MA, petition of Martha and Abigail Whitney, minors over 14, daughters of James Whitney, late of Sherborn, deceased, that Jonathan Twitchel of Sherborn be appointed guardian. On 2 Apr 1764, Sherborn, MA, Jonathan Twitchel, yeoman, of Sherborn was appointed guardian of Martha and Abigail Whitney, daughters of James Whitney, late of Sherborn, deceased, and posted bond with Jesse Morse, yeoman, of Sherborn, as surety.
